Welcome to the NEXT BIG THING Blog Hop.
What is a blog hop? Basically, it’s a way for readers to discover authors new to them. I hope you'll find new-to-you authors whose works you enjoy. On this stop on the blog hop, you'll find a bit of information on me and one of my books and links to five other authors you can explore!

You can buy this at Amazon and many other fine ebook retailers!  Given is on All Romance eBooks and Bookstrand best seller lists right now!

My gratitude to fellow author, Michelle Clay, for inviting me to participate in this event. You can click the following links to learn more about Michelle and her books.

In this blog hop, my fellow authors and I, in our respective blogs, have answered ten questions about our current book or work-in-progress (giving you a sneak peek). We've also included some behind-the-scenes information about how and why we write what we write--the characters, inspirations, plotting and other choices we make. I hope you enjoy it!
Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts and questions. Here is my Next Big Thing!
1: What is the working title of your book?
Given

2: Where did the idea come from for the book?
This was an idea that I toyed around with for a few years. I had a lot of different directions that I wanted to go with this, but finally the current storyline won my muse over.

3: What genre does your book come under?
Erotic dystopian futuristic romance.

4: Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
OMG…I had a reviewer tell me that Given should become a movie. I’d Chose Ian Somerhalder to play Brax, Natalie Portman to play Krista. I have no idea who I would cast as Damon, but my choice for Mal would be Kieran Culkin. Rounding out the cast I'd choose Nicholas Hoult to play Max and Lance Gross for DeAnthony.  This is my fantasy movie version of the book. So I would also pick Justin Bieber to play Jared…just to make my daughter happy. I think it's every author's dream to see their book made into a movie and lately the only movies Hollywood makes are books first...fingers crossed!!

5: What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Krista’s country expects her to “give” herself to six men, and she’ll have to find the courage to accept her fate.

6: Is your book self-published, published by an independent publisher, or represented by an agency?
I’m published by Beachwalk Press.

7: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
Six months.

8: What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

There really aren’t many books like Given. I can’t think of one book to compare it to.

9: Who or what inspired you to write this book?
I was actually trying to write something short and sexy for Changeling Press, but I got a bit carried away and this became a novel.

10: What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
This isn’t just a story about sex. There’s a lot of emotion and drama too.
Below you will find authors who will be joining me virtually, via blog, next Wednesday. Please be sure to bookmark their sites, and add them to your calendars for updates on their upcoming books! Happy Writing and Reading!
